They came from a December 07, 1992, issue of U.S. News & World Report.
The magazine devoted five of its pages to trying to explain why Carl Jung has suddenly become so appealing, more than thirty years after his death – now over 50 years latter still ring true today.
Jung provides perfect marriages between psychology and spirituality, between religion and science.
The book the Road Less traveled was once described as “Jung Translated for the masses,” and its popularity obviously has a great deal to do with the fact that it was published at the Right Time, just when “Gnawing’s of Dissatisfaction” were being felt, I can relate as one chomping at the bit.
Its popularity astounded many, simply because it wasn’t saying anything new under the sun.
Book repeated things that Carl Jung and William James and others had said long before and through life-Care act as boomers we say again.
It realizes that although it wasn’t saying anything new, people had not listened before as many still do not listen to this day.
Perhaps now during election year were ready to pay attention within selects do not change.
Publication back in the day seemed to have great appeal to people living in Bible belts, holding majority in request of lectures come to areas.

To understand why Gulf existed, we have to go back in time before there was such a thing as psychology.
We need to examine the history of the relationship between religion and science.
Some twenty-five hundred years ago, the original relationship between religion and science was one of integration. And this integration had a name – Psychology.
So early philosophers life Plato and Aristotle, and later ones like Thomas Aquinas, were men of scientific bent.
They thought in terms of Evidence and they questioned Premises, but they also totally convinced that God was an Essential Reality.
But in the sixteenth century things began to go Sour, and they hit bottom in 1633 when Galileo was summoned before the inquisition. The results of that event were decidedly unpleasant.
They were unpleasant for Galileo, who was forced to recant his beliefs in Copernican Theory – that the planets revolve around the Sun – and then was placed under House arrest for remainder of his life.

Back to story: However, in short order, things got even more unpleasant for the church.
To describe what happened next, let us indulge in a Fantasy.

I am grateful to his Holiness for recently sending me a secrete message which suggested an action that might be taken to help me fulfill, by God’s grace, those responsibilities.
Since it was at your initiation that this meeting came to pass, you’re Holiness; perhaps you would be so kind as to convey to Mr. Newton the sense of your message.”
“Thank you, your Majesty,” says the pope. “As you know, Mr. Newton, the Galileo affair has been of considerable embarrassment to the church for some years now.
All I did was propose to your queen that it is high time that there should be some healing in the conflict between science and religion.
“Such would certainly be in the best interest of the state,” says the queen.
Newton was quick to respond that the means of aims of science as they have developed over the past century have become quite different from those of religion.
“The age of the armchair philosopher is past,” he says. “I do not see how we can turn back the clock or that we should attempt to do so,”
“Oh, I quite agree, Mr. Newton,” says the Pope. “A true reunification is not possible, but surely there could be some reconciliation at least, a rapprochement of sorts, between the scientific and religious communities.” “But what do you want me to do? asks Newton.
“A deal, Isaac,” says the Queen. “The time has come to make a deal.”
“An agreement, Mr. Newton,” says the Pope. “As the representative of the Holy See, I am empowered to make an agreement whereby the Church would no longer harass any ‘Genuine’ member of the scientific establishment , as long as the scientific establishment agrees, in turn,to keep its scientific nose our of religious matters.”
“What we are proposing , Isaac,” says the Queen, “is a mutual ‘Respect’ for each other’s territories, though a stable balance of Power and a cooperative relationship in which everyone’s back is scratched can be scratched. This is in accord with already existing boundaries.
The aim of your society – which, I might add, currently thrives under my auspices and protection – is, as its title suggests, improving Natural Knowledge.
Now, natural Knowledge, which I’m sure you will agree, is quite properly the province of the church.”
“Just as Politics is quite properly the domain of Politicians,” says the Pope. “Surely the scientific quest for natural knowledge should not be ‘Sullied’ by the vagaries of ‘Vulgar’ Politics. “WOW“– I can relate.
Should science stand above political concerns as well as aside from religious matters, I can foresee the possibility in the form of government subsidies for scientific departments within universities as well as for the increasingly complex equipment coming to be required for scientific investigation.”

The Queen smiles – “As President of the Royal Society, Isaac, you are the most influential scientist in Christendom, if you can support the development of the ideal of pure science we have been describing, I have no doubt that a great step will have been taken to ensure the stability of Christian civilization for centuries to come visionary in proportion.
The Unwritten Contract
So ends this fantasy.

The eviL of Compartmentalization

The same kind of compartmentalization can occur within individuals as well.
Human beings have a remarkable capacity to take things that are related to each other and stick them in separate Airtight Compartments so they do not rub up Against each other and cause them Pain.
My case currently in deadlock - serves as prime example toward ‘case in point’ validity of judicial reform submissions demonstrating opposites of “SYMBALLEIN.”

What lacks is any sense in integrity under God.
The word ‘INTEGRITY’ comes from the same root as “INTEGRATE.”
It means to achieve wholeness, which is opposite of Compartmentalize.
Compartmentalize is Easy, integrity is painful.
But without it there can be no wholeness.
Integrity requires one be fully open to the confliction forces and ideas and stresses in life.
For public record: Trustee under free will has chosen- Compartmentalize under the law allows preference over integral civility under God as malignant hypocrite in community convent which clearly refers: if not within- have no business remaining within.
